Global Settings Dialog
Used to establish global attribute values for the active design. This dialog opens with the Configure > Global Settings command on the Tools menu of the Design Assistant. Use this dialog when you want to temporarily override the values of corresponding global attributes of the currently selected job default. These global settings are applied to features assigned to the design during the current design session. If you reopen the design later, the Design Assistant defaults to the global settings of the current job default.
| Setting | Description |

| Feature Commodity Type | The commodity group to which you want to apply the new global attribute values. |
| Global Attribute | The global attributes for the selected commodity group. |
| Value | The current value for the global attribute. Clicking the Value box activates a drop-down list so that you can modify the displayed value. |
| OK | Closes the dialog and saves any changes. |
| Cancel | Closes the dialog without saving any changes. |
| Help | Opens the Help topic for this dialog. |
